Description
mHealth interventions for breast cancer survivors are not specified for low income or racial/ethnic minority groups. This study examined evidenced-based features that underserved breast cancer survivors found important to include in a weight management app. Fifteen women participated in a two-phase study. Participants valued apps that were simple to use, had new/engaging information, and incorporated features for breast cancer survivors. In phase 2, the mean usability percentile score of the wireframes was acceptable at 79.
Learning Objective: Learn what mHealth app design features are acceptable to breast cancer survivors from underserved populations
