Description

The Arkansas Image Enterprise System (ARIES) is the first instantiation of the Platform for Imaging in Precision Medicine (PRISM), which was developed as an extension of The Cancer Imaging Archive (TCIA). The ARIES project demonstrates the capabilities of the PRISM infrastructure to effectively integrate semantic representations of neuroanatomical segmentation schemes; diverse sets of multi-modal, clinical, neuro-motor, or neurocognitive assessments; as well as the results of statistical analyses across the available data elements and processing stages.

Learning Objective: After viewing this poster presentation, the learner should be better able to:

Discuss how the Arkansas Image Enterprise System (ARIES) is an instantiation of the open-source Platform for Imaging in Precision Medicine (PRISM), which was developed as an extension of The Cancer Imaging Archive; and understand the value that semantic integration can provide for a neuroimaging data repository such as the one described.
