Telehealth has great promise to expand access by connecting providers and patients who are not co-located. The frontier Critical Access Hospital (CAH) can use telehealth to overcome barriers to access including geography and provider availability. We sought to identify factors that influence telehealth implementation, adoption and use in the frontier critical access hospital setting. Insights can be used to inform telehealth use in other settings.
