Our research team recently applied user-centered Design Sprint methodology to develop a novel patient web portal intervention, the My Diabetes Dashboard, to help patients better understand and manage their diabetes. Here, we report that in a prospective, longitudinal usability study of the dashboard, we found the dashboard was acceptable to patients and had ‘above average’ usability.

Learning Objective: 1. Describe the, My Diabetes Dashboard, a novel intervention within a patient web portal aimed at improving patients' knowlegde and management of their diabetes.
2. Assess the acceptability and usabilty of the My Diabetes Dashboard in a prospective, longitudinal usability study.
