Description

Minnesota Electronic Disease Surveillance System (MEDSS) supports public health disease surveillance in Minnesota. It currently holds ~1,494,508 events and has users with varying access/roles across state programs, local public health agencies and clinical partners. The MEDSS informatics team coordinates with various MEDSS groups, state technology agency and system vendor to support system enhancements and efficient operations. Given this matrix of users, priorities and technical support, it is essential to have an informatics governance model.
