Description

In this study we describe our implementation of a system which identifies and notifies when a patient is at-risk for acute decompensation. Our study can help offer insight into the best-practices and lessons-learned from implementing early warning systems. The study should be useful for other hospital systems seeking to implement such an IT solution to improve patient care.

Learning Objective: Understand an effective strategy for implementing early warning technology and generating trust from both IT and clinical partners
