Abstract Body: The latest information on accreditation for health informatics educational programs will be discussed. Participants will learn where to access information on health informatics accreditation and acquire ideas for how to organize their program for the accreditation process. Participants will also learn a structure and process for using the curriculum assessment tools. Accreditation provides an effective and reliable quality monitoring process for Health Informatics masters programs, as well as tools for assessing continuous quality improvement. Educational programs can demonstrate that educational standards and core competencies are met in support of learning through accreditation. Accreditation also provides data representing key information to students, faculty, the health care industry, and the public.
