Description

Recent studies show an increase in vitamin deficiencies in high-income countries1. Consequently, aging populations in these countries are increasingly likely to develop or contract diseases stemming from malnutrition. There is little information available on causations of deficiency stemming from other significant individual factors, namely diseases, drugs, genetics. This analytics study combines data on associations between vitamins and clinical factors from Medline and PharmGKB. The results focused on neurological disorders and revealed new potential vitamin associations.
