Description
Medication regimen management complexity impairs patients’ medical adherence and associates with multiple adverse patient consequences like higher hospitalization rate and increased medical cost. We constructed multiple medication adherence indicators based on linked EHRs and administrative claims. We profiled the distribution of these indicators and built statistical models to assess their impact on improving utilization prediction.
Learning Objective: ● Demonstrate the distribution and correlation of multiple medication adherence indicators
● Understand the impact of medication adherence indicators in predictive models of utilization
