Company Overview

Vanderbilt's Department of Biomedical Informatics (DBMI) is the largest academic department of biomedical informatics in the country, with more than 100 faculty members and a graduate training program that includes our research-focused MS & PhD, MS in Applied Clinical Informatics, Clinical Informatics Subspecialty Fellowship, and robust summer research program for high school and undergraduate students. DBMI’s portfolio of research and development projects are highly diverse. Our faculty and students are innovators, building transformational clinical information systems that facilitate quality care, engineering data science methods that advance biomedical information storage, aggregation, retrieval, and reuse, and leading bioinformatics and translational science investigations through novel methods that promote precision health care.
