Bio
* Health services research fellow at the University of Michigan. Planned research is to develop culturally-tailored technology interventions for Filipinx-Americans with Type 2 diabetes. * Other research interests include nurses’ user experience with the EHR and the use of data mining to conduct workflow analysis. Dissertation focused on the impact of task-technology fit (Goodhue & Thompson, 1999) to nurses’ performance (time in the EHR and subjective workload). Additionally, used computational ethnography to aid with the EHR screen redesign for nurses. * Experienced nurse informaticist with more than 10 years of experience in clinical systems implementation, training, and optimization at inpatient and ambulatory settings. * Demonstrated success in attesting and achieving Meaningful Use for hospitals (Stages 1 and 2). * Instructional designer with strong emphasis on use of blended learning (online learning and instructor-led training) in maximizing delivery of education and training. * Adjunct faculty member at San Francisco State University since 2013.
