Chris Moesel is a software systems engineer in the Open Health Services department at MITRE. He has over fifteen years of experience developing software, with a focus on digital health since 2014.
Chris is a coauthor of the Health Level Seven (HL7) Clinical Quality Language (CQL) specification and is currently the technical lead for the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) CDS Connect project.
Chris is also technical lead of the CIMPL toolchain, a component of the Standard Health Record (SHR) project. CIMPL allows authors to create clinical models using simple notation and generate HL7 FHIR Implementation Guides from them.
Chris received a B.S. in Computer Science from Eastern Nazarene College.
