Bio
Elizabeth is a Senior Lecturer in Primary Care and Public Health in the UK. She works in mental health and epidemiology with special focus on methods development and data quality for primary care electronic health records (EHRs) data including using free text to improve data quality. She has extensive experience of working across disciplinary boundaries between health, medicine, physics, maths and computer science. She has led interdisciplinary projects developing novel methodologies for accommodating missingness and incompleteness in EHRs. She has been data governance, public engagement and ethics lead for the EPSRC-funded UK Healthcare Text Analytics Network since 2016 and was a Farr Institute Future Leader in Health Data Science 2016-2018.
