This paper aims to investigate doctor of medicine students’ perceptions regarding a clinical informatics course at West China School of Medicine in Sichuan University. Students were surveyed to evaluate their perceptions and satisfaction of the course. Semi-structured and open-ended questionnaires were used to explore the students' perception of the course. A total of 95% (195/205) completed questionnaires were returned on October 21-23, 2018. The results showed that students were satisfied with and received benefits from the course.

Learning Objective: Understand the doctor of medicine students’perceptions about a clinical informatics course.
