Description

This study aims to develop an ontology for daily-living routines of patients with a chronic condition. Such ontologies can allow the integration of data on daily-living routines, into electronic health records that can harmonize such data with clinical data for maximizing individualized therapy. Protégé was used to develop an ontology, based on qualitative data from 39 patients, to examine their anticoagulation therapy management at home and other daily-living settings.
