Description

The ability to improve our understanding of patient behaviors can ultimately lead to improved health interventions. Agent Based Models represent an approach to modeling complex patient behaviors. Using exercise as a significant contributor to preventive health, our model highlights two important aspects of individual behavior: a) simple actions have a direct cumulative effect over time; with b) cascading, feedback loops as part of a chain of cause-effect.

Learning Objective: Understanding how simple behavioral changes can significantly impact individual health through the use of Agent Based Modeling Methods.
