Company Overview

Started in 1964, ours is the oldest informatics program in the world. We offer Certificate, MS (thesis and non-thesis options), and PhD degree programs, and have an unparalleled breadth of research opportunities owing to our close relationships with the three healthcare networks that cover over 90% of the state’s inhabitants, the world’s finest genealogy and phenotype database (the Utah Population Database), and strong state and industrial partners.  The Department’s National Library of Medicine T15 Training Grant was currently renewed. Our training and research programs are well-balanced, emphasizing clinical, translational, clinical research, and population informatics.
