A bioinformaticist for 20+ years in proteomics and then proteogenomics, I have been working in Health Informatics for the past few years. I lead a Translational Informatics group and a Pathology Informatics group. We work to provide structure to the free text in the EHR and to map that newly structured data to standard terminologies.
