Healthcare Quality Research Leader at Battelle Memorial Institute
I am a registered nurse with more than 40 years of healthcare quality, informatics, management, clinical, research, and education experience. The last 20 plus years have been spent helping different areas of the US Department of Health and Human Services solve informatics problems and the last 10 plus years supporting CMS quality programs. My current work includes leading the updates to the CMS Measures Management System Blueprint and eCQM standards education and outreach. I am also responsible for the operations and maintenance of the eCQI Resource Center- the one stop shop for the most current resources to support electronic clinical quality improvement. I have a PhD in Human Services, a BS and MS in Nursing, and an EdM in Human Resource Education. I am certified in Nursing Informatics and a Certified Professional In Healthcare Quality. Most recently I was named to the inaugural class of AMIA Fellows.
